Missy Travis, MSN, RN, CIC Missy Travis is the founder of IP&C Consulting LLC, a consulting company that assists other Infection Preventionists, business owners, healthcare facilities, and sports teams develop an effective infection prevention program. She has over 20 years of experience focusing on infection prevention techniques and has utilized her skills as a Registered Nurse and Infection Preventionist in a variety of settings.She has served as President for the Middle Tennessee Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC) Chapter twice since 2006. She has also served in other chapter leadership positions as well as sitting on the Board of Directors. She has presented three scientific abstract posters at National Meetings. She has helped implement national grants for infection prevention in the public health setting. She has created educational courses, IP Mentor, as part of her consulting business. She has also hosted multiple online workshops and webinars.

Brandy Coyle

Brandy Coyle, MBA, BS, RN

Chief Compliance Officer, Bluegrass Community Health Center

Brandy Coyle, MBA, BS, RN serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for Bluegrass Community Health Center (BCHC), where she leads the organization’s quality, compliance, claims management, risk management, and provider credentialing programs. With more than 15 years of nursing and healthcare leadership experience, she brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, operational insight, and technical proficiency to her work.

Since becoming Chief Compliance Officer in 2019, Brandy has overseen major organizational achievements, including multiple successful Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognitions and BCHC’s Operational Site Visits, which have resulted in a Certificate of Compliance with no conditions. Most recently, Brandy was selected to participate in the NCQA Advanced Primary Care (APC) pilot project, a national initiative designed to test and refine the next generation of quality standards for primary care. Through this work, she collaborates with NCQA and peer organizations to evaluate new measures, assess real-world implementation impacts, and help shape the future framework that will guide primary care transformation across the country.

Mary Michaud comes from a family of healthcare professionals and has spent the past decade working in the provider credentialing field. For the last seven years, she has also served as a consultant to small healthcare groups, helping improve credentialing and billing processes. A former President of the Nevada chapter of the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), Mary brings deep industry expertise to her current role as a Credentialing Specialist at MedTrainer. In this position, she works closely with our Customer Success team to educate on credentialing standards and support clients with credentialing-related needs. Outside of work, she enjoys writing short stories and traveling.
