Healthcare Director and HMS Compliance Lead, Huron Consulting Group

Prior to joining Huron, Mary Frances “Frankie” Nesbitt served as the Assistant Vice President for Physician Services at a LifePoint Health facility in Columbia, South Carolina. During her time there, she worked to transition primary care and multi-specialty physician groups from a not-for-profit to a for-profit organizational and management structure. Prior to her engagement with LifePoint, Mary Frances worked with Tenet Healthcare as a National Director of Physician Integration where she developed and implemented a standardized process by which providers were integrated into the health system, having oversight for a team of consultants throughout the country who were responsible for ensuring the successful onboard/offboard/relocation of all providers in transition. In the early years of Mary Frances’ career, she worked in various practice operations and revenue cycle roles, always with the goal of learning as much as possible and assisting providers so they could focus on what was most important – taking care of patients.

Since joining Huron in 2018, Mary Frances has worked on projects related to provider compensation redesign, provider productivity and utilization, departmental integrations, fee schedule consolidations, revenue integrity program development and more.  In addition, she has performed operational assessments throughout the country, and served as an interim VP of Revenue Cycle for a national network of behavioral health clinics. Her focus remains on ways to ensure compliance while developing efficiencies in workflow to improve patient, provider and staff experiences in the medical office and revenue cycle environments.
