About this webinar

The OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) is mandatory for healthcare organizations with very few exceptions. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is planning to expand the rule to require all employers with 100 or more employees to test unvaccinated employees on a weekly basis by expanding the ETS.

There are 26 states with OSHA-approved state plans and some of them have been threatened to be returned to federal control due to lack of enforcing ETS minimum standards. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has also mandated COVID-19 vaccinations for clinical and non-clinical workers in most healthcare settings that receive Medicare or Medicaid reimbursement.

As the federal government prepares to expand the ETS and mandatory vaccinations to organizations with 100 or more workers, employers must be prepared to implement the ETS and subsequent rules as they become final. In this webinar, we will review the status of the ETS and vaccination mandate, and discuss how to make informed decisions to be prepared and avoid costly liabilities, penalties, and fines.
